Update from Yarredi AGM

Yarredi Services recognises their successes during the past twelve months.

Installation of Solar Panels

Thanks to the generous support of two local businesses Yarredi will reduce cost of electricity for crisis accommodation.

Winston the Bear

Winston the Bear has recent retired as children's companion at the Pt Lincoln Library. After taking some time off to visit schools, go fishing and even helping out with some parcel deliveries, Winston has come to live at Yarredi Services where he now provides comfort and support to children attending the Yarredi Children's Wellbeing Program for children affected by domestic and family violence.

Awards

Life memberships were awarded to Hanna Dalziel for her 20 years of service, and to Christine Jettner for 10 years of voluntary service to Yarredi. Certificates for Service of 10 or more years were also awarded to Nola Fehrenbach and Jennifer Pope.

Remembrance Quilt Project - Not One More

Clients, both women and children, took part in a quilting project to honour and remember the women and children who have been killed in domestic violence. Click here to view full story...
